Terms of Service
By creating an account or using PantryMonkey you agree to these terms.
The service
PantryMonkey tracks household groceries from receipt photos and estimates freshness, quantities and shopping needs. Estimates come from statistical models and AI and can be wrong. Do not rely on them for food safety; always check food yourself before eating it.
Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in links and tokens private. You must give accurate information and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country).
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and data you upload. You give us permission to process them, including by sending them to our AI provider, solely to operate the service for you. Only upload receipts you are entitled to share, and avoid photos that show other people's personal or payment details.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, and no attempts to break, probe or overload the service or access other households' data.
- No automated bulk uploads beyond the fair-use limits (currently about 30 receipts per day).
- No reselling or sharing of your account credentials.
Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, PantryMonkey is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for food waste, spoilage or illness resulting from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, or US$50 if you paid nothing.
Ending the relationship
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may end or suspend access for abuse or legal reasons.
